Smith's Bar and Grill
Nestled away in the heart of Paddington and Little Venice Smith’s Bar and Grill is a European and British inspired restaurant with a modern edge. With their year-round terrace that overlooks the stunning Grand Union Canal and just a stone’s throw away from Paddington station, it's in a prime spot for visitors to relax and enjoy their exquisite selection of food and drink.
The Solution
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Smiths can accommodate parties of all sizes. Their beautifully high ceiling and daylight filled venue is the idyllic location for a carefree easy brunch or to celebrate an occasion such as a wedding or birthday party. Greenery lines the walls creating a beautiful botanical garden vibe without the worry of the bad weather!
We used a vinyl on our banquettes to give it that leather look, this works well within this restaurant, easy to wipe clean and goes beautifully with the interiors. We created intricate beautiful detailed backs by using our diamond stitched technique. We also finished it off with a settee style arm panel’s which gives the ends a gorgeous luxurious finish.
The colours used were an oxblood red and a Rich dark green, these two colours blend in so well with the colour pallet used throughout, the green works against the mahogany wood walls and the oxblood looks perfect against that striking green wall. Their free-standing chairs were matched with the colours used on our banquettes which brings everything together in a truly beautiful way.
The Result
Creating the seating within this restaurant was a pleasure to work on. With its relaxed vibe and with it bringing nature into its restaurant, the aim was to ensure combining all the colours and textures would deliver a visually pleasing atmosphere for its visitors, which we feel Smith’s bar and Grill has done absolutely beautifully.
